Picking the right CYPE build
Nobody loses a job because they chose the wrong beam. They lose it in the details. A load combination that slipped past, a drawing the site misreads, a model that argues with the report. That's the mess CYPECAD keeps out of your week.
How it runs in practice. You build the frame, concrete or steel or composite, and it hands back sized members, reinforcement drawings and a report a checker can actually read. CYPE MEP works from that same model, so wiring and drainage don't sit on separate drawings. Open BIM links the whole thing to Revit, ArchiCAD and IFC 4. Nothing ends up trapped in one program.
Which version, then? Starting clean, take CYPE 2027.a. Already living in CYPE 2026 templates and libraries? Stay put. Same standards (Eurocode 2, EHE-08, CTE, NBR, NTC), and nothing you built breaks.
Two things people get wrong. 32-bit and 64-bit aren't interchangeable once models get big. Go 64-bit. And if two or three engineers will use it, the three-seat package undercuts buying two single licences.
Have a look at CYPE 2027.a and CYPE 2026.
